1935 King George V Silver Jubilee Stamps, India

King George V Silver Jubilee stamps were issued in India in 1935 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of King George V’s reign as the King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India.

59 countries issued stamps commemorating the event. India issued a set of seven stamps featuring the profile of King George V and the words “Silver Jubilee”, “Commemorations” and “6th May 1935”.
